Since yesterday (May 15, 2019) SAP has released usage of HANA ScaleOut for Power9 (max 16 nodes in a ScaleOut Cluster)
BW and BW/4: 16 nodes x 16 TB = 256 TB max cluster size
S/4: 4 nodes x 24 TB = 96 TB max cluster size (min node size 6TB or higher)

SAP HANA 2.0 Support Package Stack (SPS) 03 Database Maintenance Revision 37.01 of SAP HANA Platform Edition is now available externally for download in SP/Patch download area on SAP Software Download Center.

Good News: Update of SAP Note 2230704 over the weekend - on Power9 E950
and E980 - without any further restrictions - up to 16 productive LPARs
(or 15 + 1 shared pool) are now allowed!
